healthcare for Taranaki whānau.
Dedicated to Taranaki.
Committed to healthcare fundraising.
The Taranaki Health Foundation is a charitable organisation founded in 1998 in partnership with the Taranaki District Health Board. The shared vision of the partners is to enable the best possible healthcare via fundraising for key projects that will make a significant difference to our regional community.
Since late 2013, the Foundation has received over ten million dollars in pledges and in June 2016 we completed a 3.6 million dollar campaign for a new Angiography suite at Taranaki Base Hospital. These stellar results would certainly not be possible without the generous support of Business Sponsors and donations from the Taranaki community.
Taranaki Health Foundation Staff
I joined the trust in 2013 and enjoy using my skills, experience and energy to help achieve the foundation's goals.
I have a passion for our community, leadership and equality. Over the years, I have contributed to many community organisations, events and activities. I am currently on the Taranaki Golf Association Board. My wife Melanie and I have been married for 23 years.
Donor Relationship Manager
I am proud to be a fifth generation Taranakian and love community involvement. Having completed a career of 31 years with Air New Zealand, this enabled me to maximise my passion for travel, and exploring the world (hopefully many more adventures to come). I truly appreciate my life in New Plymouth with focus on our beaches and foreshore, socialising with friends, and keeping fit.
Donor Relationship Manager
Brad is an experienced project manager in the construction industry and so understands the challenges that come with large scale construction projects. Brad is the Managing Director for Fortius Group, specialising in residential property development and key stakeholder consultation services.
I arrived in New Plymouth from the UK in 2018. After a 2 year stint in Auckland, I couldn't resist moving back to New Plymouth. With a partner who works at Taranaki Base Hospital, I have a passion for improving healthcare facilities for both patients and staff who do amazing work every day. I am so excited to have the opportunity to give back to the Taranaki community and be involved in a project that will improve Taranaki healthcare for the foreseeable future.
I am Taranaki born and bred. I travelled the globe for about 7 years before the pull of our Maunga became too great and I returned home to the beauty that is Taranaki. My greatest achievement in life would have to be my beautiful daughter.
